Day 1: Arrive in Kamchatka.

Arrive in Kamchatka (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky). Meet your tour leader at the airport before transferring to accommodation in Paratunka. The afternoon is yours to explore or relax in the hotel pool.

Day 2: Kuril Lake

Optional scenic helicopter flight to Kuril Lake for brown bears watching. Than enjoy a trekking to caldera of Ksudach volcano and soak a bit in hot springs nearby.

Day 3: Avachinksy

Full day trek to the summit of Avachinksy, one of the most active volcanoes in Kamchatka, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the peninsula.

One of Kamchatka’s 29 active volcanoes, Avachinsky is included on the UNESCO world heritage list and is located at the north east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Few spots in Kamchatka offer as impressive sweeping views of the peninsula. Ascending Avachinsky volcano, while not a challenging physical feat, can give travelers a profound sense of feeling on top of the world.

Day 4: Starichkov Island

Boat trip to Starichkov Island. Take in breathtaking scenery and the twisting coastline, relax on deck and enjoy sweeping views of the peninsula and its many volcanoes.

Cruising on the tranquil waters of Avachinskaya Bay and relaxing with a Kamchatka peninsula backdrop behind you is an experience unlike any other. Making stops at Starichkov Island and along the bay, you’ll become acquainted with the many species of birdlife which call the shores home. The Kamchatka peninsula and its volcanoes look astonishing from the crystal clear waters of Avachinskaya bay as their stature and grandeur can only truly be appreciated from a distance.

Day 5: Mount Vachkazhets

Hike around Mount Vachkazhets, a volcano which was once a one-cone volcano before exploding and splitting into three different summits, and explore its surroundings.

Day 6: Bystraya river

Enjoy slow pace rafting and fishing on Bystraya river, one of Kamchatka’s best angling spots, or as an option visit to the Kaynayran ethnic village for cultural immersion in indigenous way of life.

Day 7: Dachniye hot thermal springs

Trek around the Dachniye hot thermal springs at the base of the Mutnovskiy volcano. This journey will include a visit to the serene Spokoiniy creek and waterfall.
